When i was in 2nd grade of junior high school, i remember that was the 1st time i touch electronic media as we know it is computer. I love video games very much. And that’s why i was using computer. That time, i saw my brother playing games. It’s the best video games i ever saw. Not like others that i usually played on coin-operated arcade consoles.
Nowadays, electronic games are a popular for both children and adults. Categories include strategy games, sports games, adventure games, card and board games, puzzle games, fast-action arcade games, flying simulations, and much more.
Computer is the most popular for playing games. Computers brought a new flexibility to games. Computers stores data, and have a good platform for lengthy adventure and role-playing games. When playing on computer, players could save their progress and continue the games at a later time. Different from other console, players could only start games from the beginning. But now, there are console with saving media, so players just select the location of the media to save their progress.
Some companies have built new platforms, building on the success of interactive games played on consoles and computers. The fastest-growing gaming platforms are the Internet. From the first multi-user dungeon game, to massively multi player online which hundreds and even thousands of players can socialize and compete with one another.
